Ceremonial Packages of the Order of the European Lion​​

The Order of the European Lion offers, in addition to the complimentary official recognition, a series of optional ceremonial packages for laureates who wish to receive their distinction in a dignified, elegant, or exclusive setting. These packages are entirely voluntary and are independent of the granting of the distinction itself.

1. Official Basic Package – Ordo Leonis Europaei

The essence of the Order: solemn, pure, and without commercial elements.

This package includes:

• Official recognition by the Chapter

• Complimentary certificate with seal

• Registration in the Grand Order Book

• Digital confirmation for communication or publication

This package is always free of charge. A detailed explanation is available upon request from the Chapter.

2. Ceremonial Presentation – Ritus Leonis

A modest and dignified ceremony for those who wish to receive their distinction personally.

This package includes:

• Personal presentation of the distinction and certificate by the Grand Master or his representative

• Short ceremony with symbolic gesture

• Signing of the Grand Order Book

• Opportunity for photographs

3. Prestige Ceremony – Aurea Celebratio

A luxurious and representative ceremony for exceptional merit.

This package includes:

• Full ceremony with protocol elements

• Personal presentation of the distinction and certificate by the Grand Master or his representative

• Signing of the Grand Order Book

• Champagne sabrage and/or toast

• Stylish venue (salon, manor house, historic hall) or during your own dinner gala or event

4. Exclusive Diamond Package – The Diamond Celebration of the European Lion

The most prestigious package of the Order, unique in Europe.

This package includes:

• Gala ceremony with full protocol guidance

• Address by the Grand Master and presentation of distinctions

• Multiple honourees with corresponding insignia and certificates

• Champagne sabrage and/or diamond‑in‑glass ritual

• Unique Medal of the Order of the European Lion with a diamond (certificate included)

• Gala dinner or reception

• Live music or string ensemble

• Professional photographer and video montage (optional drone footage)

5. Diplomatic or State Level – Conventus Leonis Europaei

For exceptional individuals with international, diplomatic, or societal impact.

This package includes:

• Tailor‑made ceremony with full protocol

• Personal address by the Chapter

This package is discussed exclusively upon individual request to the Chapter.
